The Match Up web challenge is provided by The Free Dictionary. This activity is appropriate for secondary students. The word combinations change daily.

To play Match Up:

• Click the work in the left column and then click the word it matches in the right column. The word in the right column will change color.
• Repeat for all five words.
• If you change your mind, just click the word on the left and then the new selection on the right or click Clear.
• Click Answer when you are done. You will see your score and definitions of the words with synonyms. Click the BACK button on your browser to return to this web page when you are done reviewing the information.
• Reload this web page to get a new list for the next game.
