The African American Male Achievement Initiative (AAMAI) Action Plan was developed using a comprehensive analysis of multiple data sources to ensure a well-rounded and informed approach. Critical data includes insights from student focus groups, which provided authentic perspectives on the lived experiences of African American males in our schools. We also incorporated Panorama Survey data to assess students' social-emotional well-being, various student achievement data to track academic performance, and discipline data to identify trends in behavioral outcomes. These data points helped shape targeted strategies to foster a more equitable and supportive learning environment for African American males.
