Special Recognitions and Presentations
-The Board recognized Carman-Buckner Crossing Guard, Richard Baldwin for 43 years of service. 

Action Items
-The Board of Education voted to approve all facility usage fees for LCCCA concert series dated November 24, 2019, January 18, 2020, March 14, 2020 and April 4, 2020. These events are held at Brookside Campus in the Trapp Auditorium. Total value of waiver is $6,277.
-The Board of Education voted to approve a proposed contract extension for Transportation Services for Illinois Central School Bus for fiscal year 2020-2021, and authorize the Superintendent to sign associated contract extension documents. The cost of the contract is $8,641,601.
-The Board of Education voted to approve the amendments to Board Policy 5004, Summer Educational Programs.
-The Board of Education voted to approve the purchase of a 2015 Ford Fusion for the use of the Operations department in the amount of $10,800.
-The Board of Education voted to approve the contract with Fulcrum Management Solutions Inc. for the purpose of purchasing ThoughtExchange, an online "software-as-a service" platform, at an estimated cost of $24,000.
-The Board of Education voted to approve a one-year extension contract with Safeway Transportation Service company for $1,470,996.10 to provide small vehicle transportation for students identified as homeless and/or students receiving special education services for FY2020-2021. The amount includes an 1.8% ($26,009.75) from FY2019-2020
-The Board of Education voted to accept the U.S. Department of Education Innovation Research (EIR) Grant Award totaling $3,532,144 with a start date of October 1, 2019 and an ending date of September 30, 2024.

Personnel Items
-The Board of Education voted to approve the attendance of the OT/PT Coordinator and the Assistive Tech Specialist at the Assistive Technology Industry Association National Conference in Orlando, FL from January 28 to February 2, 2020 at an estimated cost of $3,760.
-The Board of Education voted to Intergovernmental Agreement between the Illinois State Board of Education and Waukegan Public Schools District#60 for the purpose of supporting the recruitment of bilingual teachers and the bilingual program.
-The Board of Education voted to approve the appointments, resignations and retirements of 13 employees.
