Students at North Elementary got an early dose of holiday cheer this week, when the school was gifted more than $17,000 worth of hands-on educational toys and winter apparel.
As part of Giving Tuesday, Learning Resources, a manufacturer of various educational products, brought a truckload of gifts to be disturbed to students. With the help of students and staff, representatives from the organization unloaded the truck, which contained more than 800 toys, as well as 550 hats, mittens and coats.
