Waukegan Community Unit #60 is currently enrolling three- to five-year-old children in its EPIC preschool program.

Funded in part by the Illinois Board of Education Preschool For All Early Childhood Block Grant, enrollment into preschool classes are free for all Waukegan families meeting the program’s qualifications. Eligible children must live within District 60 boundaries, be three years old at the time of screening, and turn five after September 1.

To register, interested parents must schedule a screening appointment, where they will be guided through completing the registration packet, as well as have the opportunity to learn more about the program. Parents are asked to bring their child’s original birth certificate, two proofs of residence, proof of income and a record of immunization/physical to their screening.
