Waukegan Community Unit School District # 60 will again offer English classes for District 60 parents as part of its Academia 60 Summer Program.

The classes are open to all District 60 parents, and are offered at three levels, based on proficiency. As part of the enrollment process, parents will undergo an informal evaluation placing them into one of the three levels. This year spots are limited at the advanced level three classes, but plenty of spots are open in levels one and two.

Classes will be held virtually from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays between June 7 through July 15. 

As in past years, classes will instruct parents on a variety of subjects pertaining to their child's education, ranging from reading school calendars and report cards, family budgeting, parent-teacher conferences, and more.
