Our District is inviting all incoming 6th graders to learn more about their transition into middle school during several Moving Up to Middle School Orientations taking place in July.
These informational orientations will be held on Tuesday, July 13 and Wednesday, July 14 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at all five WPS middle schools.
During the events, incoming 6th graders will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with their new school, as well learn about its curriculum, electives, clubs, supports, resources, and more. Additionally, all students will receive school spirit shirts and a backpack.
Busing will be available to all students in need of a ride.
Any 6th grader interested in attending is asked to please complete this form no later than July 1. For more information families can contact their building’s principal:

Nuestro Distrito está invitando a todos los estudiantes que ingresan al 6to grado a aprender más sobre su transición a la escuela intermedia durante varias Orientaciones de Ascendiendo a la Escuela Intermedia que tendrán lugar el próximo mes.
Estas orientaciones informativas se llevarán a cabo el martes 13 de julio y el miércoles 14 de julio de 9 a.m. a 12 p.m. en las cinco escuelas intermedias de WPS.
Durante los eventos, los estudiantes que ingresan al 6to grado tendrán la oportunidad de familiarizarse con su nueva escuela, así como aprender sobre su plan de estudios, cursos electivos, clubes, apoyos, recursos y más. Además, todos los estudiantes recibirán camisetas de espíritu escolar y una mochila.
Los autobuses estarán disponibles para todos los estudiantes que necesiten transporte.
