Waukegan Public Schools, the Waukegan Public Schools Foundation and Lake County Coroner’s Office are shambling into spooky season with a special ZomBIOlogy event this weekend during the 11th annual ZombieWauk in downtown Waukegan.
This free community Halloween celebration will take place this Saturday, October 16, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the parking lot of 214 Washington Street.
During ZomBIOlogy, a representative from the coroner’s office will perform a “zombie autopsy.” Families will also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of zombie-themed games and activities, and earn various prizes. All attendees will receive fun zombie Bulldog swag.
