Two dozen local officials, business leaders, community partners, and more will experience a day as Waukegan Public Schools principal during District 60’s annual Guest Principal Day on Thursday, November 10. 

Guest Principals are assigned to District 60’s school buildings during the special event, which is now in its third year. During their visits Guest Principals will learn about the school and its  students. Each school has special welcoming activities planned for the Guest Principals, including meetings with staff and students, classroom activities, building tours and more. 

“Guest Principal Day is among my favorite days of the year. Our schools are always so  eager to open up their building to our special guests and showcase all of the awesome things our students and staff are doing every day,” said Superintendent of Schools, Ms. Theresa Plascencia.
