Waukegan Public Schools will host its annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration on Thursday, September 18. The theme of this year’s celebration of Hispanic history and culture is “Collective Heritage: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future.” This year’s event will be held at the Waukegan High School’s  Brookside Campus, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

During the event, families will have the opportunity to enjoy cultural performances, music, art, and delicious food representing countries across Latin America. This free, family-friendly event welcomes all members of our community to learn, connect, and celebrate together.

Las Escuelas Públicas de Waukegan celebrarán su Mes de la Herencia Hispana el jueves, 18 de septiembre. El tema de este año es "Herencia Colectiva: Honrando el Pasado, Inspirando el Futuro". El evento se llevará a cabo en el Plantel Brookside de la Escuela Secundaria Waukegan, a partir de las 5:30 p.m.

Durante el evento, las familias tendrán la oportunidad de disfrutar de presentaciones culturales, música, arte y deliciosa comida de países latinoamericanos. Este evento gratuito y familiar invita a todos los miembros de nuestra comunidad a aprender, conectar y celebrar juntos.
