Wraparound Center RFP

Waukegan Community Unit School District # 60 has issued its Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Wraparound Center.
Eligible not-for-profit and public entities are encouraged to review and respond to the RFP,
which can be 
accessed hereThe RFP process is a competitive, equitable process to review and select partner(s) to
be located at Wraparound Center. 
Waukegan Public Schools plans to open a Wraparound Center later this year at its
new District central office in downtown Waukegan. The Center will offer students and families access to therapeutic
support, services, and resources from various community agencies in a central location. The District recently completed
its Needs Assessment survey, which was administered to the community to help identify the challenges and barriers that
face our community, and how those needs/barriers can be addressed. 
The deadline for submissions is October 15, 2023.
As stated in the RFP, the District is in a position to allocate funds for the provision of specialized social services, not-for-profit,
or public subgrantees.

El Distrito Escolar 60 de la Unidad Comunitaria de Waukegan ha emitido su Solicitud de Propuestas (RFP, por sus siglas en inglés) para el Centro Integral de Servicios. Se anima a las entidades públicas y sin fines de lucro elegibles a revisar y responder a la RFP, y se puede acceder aquí. El proceso de RFP es un proceso competitivo y equitativo para revisar y seleccionar socio(s) que se ubicarán en el Centro Integral de Servicios.


Las Escuelas Públicas de Waukegan planean abrir un Centro Integral de Servicios a finales de este año en su nueva oficina central del Distrito en el centro de Waukegan. El Centro ofrecerá a los estudiantes y familias acceso a apoyo terapéutico, servicios y recursos de varias agencias comunitarias en una ubicación central. El Distrito completó recientemente su encuesta de Evaluación de Necesidades, que se administró a la comunidad para ayudar a identificar los desafíos y barreras que enfrenta nuestra comunidad, y cómo se pueden abordar esas necesidades/barreras.


La fecha límite para las presentaciones es el 15 de octubre de 2023. Como se indica en la RFP, el Distrito está en condiciones de asignar fondos para la prestación de servicios sociales especializados, sin fines de lucro o subbeneficiarios públicos.

Prevailing Wage

All services provided by  laborers, mechanics, and other workers engaged
in construction of public works are prevailing wage; as
determined by the Illinois Department of Labor.

Vendors Request Form Details
Illinois School Code (105 ILCS 5/10-17), mandates specified taxing districts, including both home rule and non-home rule municipalities, to make a good faith effort to collect and publish certain demographic information provided by vendors and subcontractors doing business with the taxing district.

Surplus Equipment Sales/Auctions
Per board policy 3205 the district advertises for-sale property, whenever the minimum per unit fair market value is estimated to be $300.00 or more and it is not subject to Mandatory Destruction. Please read all terms and conditions below, noting that the final purchase review will be done by the district's legal department.
