District 60’s K-8 theater program, the Waukegan Performing Arts Company (WAUK-PAC) will debut its next production, Moana Jr., in April. 90 Waukegan students representing 10 elementary and 5 middle schools make up the cast and crew of the production.

The show follows Moana, the strong-willed daughter of a Polynesian village chief, as she sets sail to save her people from a blight, guided by the demigod Maui, in a 60-minute musical adaptation of the Disney animated film. 

Performances will be held Friday, April 11 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, April 12 at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.

at Cooke Magnet Elementary, 522 Belvidere Road.
