Waukegan Public Schools is now accepting early kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year for current District 60 preschool students who will be five years old by September 1. This will be the only opportunity for students currently enrolled in District 60 preschool programs to pre-register. Pre-registration will remain open through February 27.
All parents and guardians must complete registration through the Parent Portal. Login credentials and instructions for accessing the Parent Portal can be obtained from your child’s school secretary. Required proof of residency documents may be uploaded directly to the Parent Portal or submitted in person at the school office.
Parents who need assistance completing online registration should contact their child’s current school. Contact information for schools is listed below.
Items must be submitted to your child’s school by February 27, 2026: Two proofs of residency (water, gas, or electric bill from the last two months; lease; mortgage; Illinois driver’s license or Illinois state ID)
Kindergarten registration for students who are not currently enrolled in the District’s EPIC preschool program will open in March.

Ya está Abierta la Inscripción para el Kínder para Estudiantes Elegibles del Programa EPIC.
Las Escuelas Públicas de Waukegan ya están aceptando inscripciones anticipadas para el Kínder para el año escolar 2026-2027 para los estudiantes de preescolar del Distrito 60 que cumplan cinco años antes del 1 de septiembre.
