On Thursday, January 23, District 60 will host the first of two special Safe Haven presentations focusing on immigration-related topics, designed to provide clarity and support for students and parents.
The first presentation, offered in English and Spanish, will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, at Miguel Juarez Middle School, and will also be streamed live on our District's YouTube channel.
Topics covered will include:

- Why It Is Safe to Send Kids to School — Assuring families about privacy and safety policies for all students.
- Know Your Rights — Practical advice and resources for navigating immigration-related challenges.
A second presentation is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 13. Each session will last approximately one hour, followed by a Q&A session for attendees.
These presentations reflect the District’s commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment for all students. Community members are encouraged to attend or tune in online for valuable insights and resources.
