Summer school graduation ceremonies for Waukegan High School and District #60 middle schools will be held in the upcoming weeks for students who have successfully completed summer school requirements.

8th Grade Promotion Ceremony

Our 8th grade promotion ceremony for all five middle schools will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 26, in the Trapp Auditorium of WHS-Brookside Campus. 8th graders should report to their regular summer school locations in their promotion gowns and ready for promotion that morning.  At 9 a.m., students will be bused to Brookside Campus to practice for the ceremony. Doors at the Trapp will open at 10:30 for open seating for family and friends of the graduates. Students will be released to their parents after the ceremony, or may take the bus back to summer school for regular transportation home.

Waukegan High School Ceremony

Waukegan High School’s summer school graduation ceremony for the Class of 2025 will be held on Wednesday, July 2. The ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. in the Trapp Auditorium of WHS-Brookside Campus. Students are asked to report at 9:15 a.m. to line up.  WHS graduation rehearsal will be at 10 a.m. on July 1. Anyone with questions about eligibility is asked to reach out to one of our summer school counselors.
