There’s still time for families to explore enrollment in our District’s Two-Way Dual Language program for the upcoming school year. To help parents learn more about the program, our District is hosting another informational meeting on Tuesday, April 29 at  5 p.m. at Oakdale Elementary School, 2230 McAree Road. 

Students enrolling in preschool and Kindergarten for the 2025/2026 school year will have the option to enter the lottery for our District's Two-way Dual Language program. Spots in the program are limited, and families are strongly encouraged to enroll as soon as possible in order to ensure they are able to enter the lottery. 

The Two-Way Dual Language program brings together native English and Spanish speakers in the same classroom, providing instruction in both languages. This approach helps students develop strong literacy and academic skills in both English and Spanish while fostering cultural appreciation and understanding.

Todavía hay tiempo para que las familias exploren la posibilidad de inscribirse en el Programa de Lenguaje Dual de nuestro Distrito para el próximo año escolar. Para ayudar a los padres a aprender más sobre el programa, nuestro Distrito está organizando otra reunión informativa el martes 29 de abril a las 5 p.m. en la Escuela Elemental Oakdale, 2230 McAree Road. 

Los estudiantes que se inscriban en preescolar y kínder para el año escolar 2025/2026 tendrán la opción de participar en la lotería para el Programa de Lenguaje Dual de nuestro distrito. Los cupos en el programa son limitados, y se anima a las familias a inscribirse tan pronto como sea posible para asegurar su participación en la lotería. 

El Programa de Lenguaje Dual Bidireccional reúne a hablantes nativos de inglés y español en el mismo salón, ofreciendo enseñanza en ambos idiomas. Este enfoque ayuda a los estudiantes a desarrollar una sólida alfabetización y habilidades académicas tanto en inglés como en español mientras se fomenta la apreciación y comprensión cultural.
