It is that time of year when the Waukegan High School cafeteria transforms into a jazz nightclub for the annual WHS Jazz Café Dinner. This year’s event will take place on Thursday, March 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the Waukegan High School Brookside Campus Cafeteria A/B. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m., and guests can enter the building through Door 11.

The evening will feature performances from Waukegan High School Jazz Ensemble I, Jazz Band II, Jazz Combo, Jazz Lab III, Rendition, as well as the Lewis and Abbott middle school Jazz Bands.

Admission is $15, and tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets can be purchased online or in person in the band or choir offices at the Brookside Campus. In-person purchases may be made with cash or a check payable to the Waukegan Association of Music Partners.

Please note that tickets will not be sold at the door.

Each ticket includes pizza, salad, dessert, and a drink, along with a great evening of live jazz performed by talented Waukegan student musicians.
