The Waukegan Community Unit School District # 60 Board of Education officially seated three members on Wednesday, May 3.

Mr. Rick Riddle, Ms. Christine Lensing and Ms Carolina Fabian were sworn in during a special organizational Board of Education meeting.  Mr. Riddle, Ms. Lensing and Ms. Fabian were elected to four-year terms during the April 4, 2023  consolidated election. This is Mr. Riddle’s third term on the Board, while Ms. Fabian and Ms. Lensing were elected to their first terms. 

During the special meeting Board Members elected Mr. Brandon Ewing and Ms. Anita Hanna as Board President and Vice President, respectively.

Outgoing Board Members Ms. Charlotte Callahan Wozniak (7 years)  and Ms Lucy Leguizamo (4 years) were also honored at the special meeting for their years of dedicated  service. 

The Board’s next regular meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9 in the Lincoln Center Board Room, 1201 N. Sheridan Road, Waukegan.
