Notice of September 26 Board Meeting & Sept. 27 Special Meeting
A regular meeting of the Board of Education will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 7 p.m. for Open Session, 6 p.m. for Closed Session. The meeting will be conducted in-person in the Lincoln Center Board Room, 1201 N. Sheridan Road. Closed Session will occur in Room 120.
Attendance at the open meeting will be determined based upon capacity limits.
The Board Meeting will also be broadcasted live on the District’s YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/waukeganpublicschools.
Additionally, a Special Meeting with Closed and Open Session of the Board of Education will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in Room 120 at Lincoln Center. Pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2 (c) (16) the discussion will be held in Closed Session. The subject will be self-evaluation, practices, and procedures, or professional ethics, and the meeting will be conducted by a representative of the IASB. No action will be taken during the special meeting open session.
