Waukegan High School’s Environmental Club is once again hosting a community-wide tree-planting initiative to help offset the environmental impact of the school's energy consumption. 

In collaboration with Tree-Plenish, the club is conducting its annual sale of various sapling species, including a Colorado Blue Spruce, Eastern Redbud, and River Birch. The bare-root saplings typically bloom 4-6 weeks after planting and offer a vibrant and sustainable addition to our environment.

Each sapling can be purchased for $5 through Tree-Plenish, by clicking here. The deadline to order is March 20, and orders can be picked up during a special community-wide pick-up event on Saturday, April 20. The Club’s goal is to plant 130 trees.
